Our Story

About Something Brewed

Something Brewed started in 2015 when we (Gill & Craig) were planning our own wedding.  We loved the ideas of the Candy Stalls and Photo booths but wanted something more personal to us.  Our biggest love (apart from each other) is COFFEE! and so the idea of a pop up speciality coffee stall began.
Now our focus is bringing you the best quality drinks products, prepared to the highest standard right where you need us to be.  We are always searching, tasting and experimenting with new ideas and flavours - always with quality and service at the forefront.

Just last year we started our own little cafe - Mayze in Finnieston, Glasgow.

A little vegetarian cafe in the heart of the westend, mayze offers a wide range of vegan and veggie brunches lunches and sweet treats. All our homebaking is entirely vegan and prepared in store. You can come in and try our cakes or you might see them around the city as we have recently begun wholesaling our baking as well!

We also love having a platform to showcase what we can do and host our consultations with our amazing couples and clients!

About Gillian & Craig

While completing separate degrees in music and sound design we worked in a lot of cafes. Finding the music and television industries dissatisfying, we subsequently worked in many more cafes! Gaining heaps of experience and developing a passion for customer service, and an overall obsession with coffee we decided that perhaps there could be a career worth investigating. Working in and managing busy coffee shops in Glasgow's west end, and planning our wedding meant that this investigation took a bit of a back seat. During the planning of the wedding the discovery that we could not hire speciality coffee baristas for our big day left us baffled! Homemade creme brulee, pop corn vendors, personalised stationary and unique entertainment yes, but no coffee :(
So Something Brewed was born, and our passion for bringing speciality coffee and teas to the masses at special events was ignited!
